Syren Arts Academy (SAA)

SAA is an international, educational and artistic program designed for the Arts and entertainment dilettante of theater, music, film and television. It is a platform that will ultimately become a catalyst to propel careers into the next stratosphere of the respective industries under the watchful eye of industry professionals turned mentors. Our goal is to provide artistic entrepreneurs start-up costs by providing an outlet to expose new talent and mobilize a new generation of imaginative expression by way of cultivating a new paradigm in order to communicate the message: “Use what you got to develop who you are.” Studies show that children who participate in the Arts on a continuous and sequential basis are more likely to be recognized for academic achievement, assume leadership positions, be involved in their community, and develop a positive work ethic and pride in what they do. However, with the “depletion of arts from the school curriculum, increased dropout rates, and over-saturation of commercialism in the A&E industry” avenues toward developing and exposing genuine artists are virtually non-existent. The mission of The Syren Arts Academy is to prepare teens and creatives who have strong personal interest in the ARTS and related careers, to successfully pursue higher learning and a profession in an ever-changing world as it relates to science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics (STEAM) and communications. We tailor the format to fit the needs of each site and tackle the issues and subjects that emerge from our site surveys and environmental scan and strive for maximum engagement!
